Between otha people newz, and some otha thangs, I was able to finsh the first chapter to Fable Avenue Book III this weekend.
I've had the idea on how this opening chapter would flow, and one creative strike, allowing it all be from one character's p.o.v. helped keep a consistency among its movement. There's a quirkiness to the first chapter...not quite as J. returning to Fable Avenue. Writing has begun on the third installment, and I
can feel the growing intensity of the story. As cliché as it sounds, it’s like that
moment when the elements gather for a storm. The tense humidity, the increasing
winds, all feeling like Mother Nature balling her fist and getting ready to
remind humanity of her strength.

jazz songstress Delia-LaRue Amat’s otherworldly voice brought Fable Avenue out

took some time to write, and since my editors haven’t taken a look at it, it is
still considered a rough draft. There’s a lot packed into Fable Avenue’s second

the cover has been finalized. The cover evolved, and then it split into two
monsters, which, on closer inspection, were good companions and blended into
one. I like the cover’s look, and it continues the simplicity of The Ghost of Gabriel’s Horn’s cover while also adding its own flavor and announcing the

here. Right now. On my birthday, April 21, 2014, I have concluded my fourth and

parallel to the main story in the first book in the series, The Ghost of Gabriel’s Horn. From this
point forward, the remaining two books of the J. Last Tuesday, on March 25, I finished the final story that arcs back in time and deals with the greater history of Fable Avenue.

I expressed a while back that I wanted to end Act II of this
next book sometime in December. Well, December is almost upon us, and although
there are only three chapters left in the second act, they are plotted as being
dense.
I’m now on chapter twenty-two. Started it over the weekend. Chapter twenty-one was short,
very fun; and just as much a palate cleanser—time off rather—for all that’s

smooth. It takes place over four days, and documents each day with an
appropriate length. Although it's long, chapter 20 is written in a way
where the reader won't feel bogged down. I made a decision that a moment
written for chapter 20 would best serve another part of the story,
happening three chapters from now. So, I cut J. Before a hero’s journey takes a dramatic turn, I have to take a pause from writing the main narrative. The male lead of the story has been given the first piece of the poetic story woven into this narrative’s fabric, and now I have to return to composing my fourth and final epic poem as he’s presented with the second and third parts to the tale.
